LCSC First Book Advisory Board to judge children’s books for Cheerios
The Lewis-Clark State College First Book Advisory Board has been selected to judge entries for the Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories Children’s Book Contest.
The national First Book organization will be sending one round of contest entries with detailed instructions to the LCSC Board on July 16, the day after the contest officially ends. The Board will have two weeks to complete and submit scoring sheets and will send the information to the Cheerios officials.
The contest runs from April 16 to July 15 and invites previously unpublished adult authors to submit their children’s book manuscripts to Cheerios. The winner has the potential to get their story published with Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing and Cheerios will provide cash prizes to the top three finalists.
