“Ducks” at Storytime

“Ducks” is our theme for Pajama Story Time this Tuesday, March 16th @ 6pm. Join us for songs, fingerplays, a craft and wonderful bedtime stories that will make you long for that down pillow.
“Ducks” is our theme at Storytime this Wednesday, March 17, and Thursday, March 18, at 10:30am. We will present stories, songs, fingerplays and a craft that will “quack” you up!


Teen book club

Teens are invited to read and discuss “Graceling” by Kristin Cashore. Our discussion will take place Wednesday, March 17, 4-5pm. Copies of the book are available through Lewiston City Library or can be ordered on VALNet.

Friends of the Library sale

The Friends of the Library will start off their annual book sale at the Community Center with a member pre-sale Thursday, March 18, 5-8pm. The public sale takes place Friday, March 19th from 9am to 8pm, and Saturday, March 20th, from 9am – 3pm.



The library welcomes children of all abilities. All programs are free of charge.

Lewiston City Library hours are:

Mon. 10am – 6pm; Tues., Wed., Thurs. 10am – 7pm; Fri., Sat. 10am – 5pm.

2010 Moneysaver Community Appreciation Grants


The 2010 Moneysaver Community Appreciation Grant applications are now available. Since 1991 the Moneysaver has awarded 112 grants to Cities, Service Groups, and or Non-Profit Organizations in the Moneysaver’s distribution area.
