Story Time at the Library
“Garden Art” is the theme for Storytime this week at the Lewiston City Library. Storytime will be on Wednesday, July 1st and Thursday, July 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Stories, fingerplays, crafts and songs will be part of the fun!
Summer Afternoon Storytime
An option for those who cannot attend the morning Storytime, Summer Afternoon Storytime will be on Tuesday, June 30th at 4:00 pm.
“Eric Carle” at Your Library!!
“Eric Carle” is the theme for this special family time, Wednesday, July 1st, 2-4 pm. Create a collage like this famous author/illustrator’s.
Library Closure
Lewiston City Library will be closed in observance of Independence Day, Saturday, July 4th. Have a safe holiday!
Summer Reading Program Begins
June 8 - Aug. 1. A program for everyone! Register online or at the library.
“Be Creative @ Your Library” this summer at Lewiston City Library and explore the worlds of music, dance, art, books and more! The 2009 Summer Reading Program is open to babies, pre-schoolers and children through elementary school with prizes, drawing, special programs, Storytime and more.
“Express Yourself @ Your Library” is the 2009 TEEN summer reading program at Lewiston City Library. Special programs include a teen publishing workshop, plus area teens are painting the back outside wall of the library.
“Book Your Summer With Us,” Lewiston City Library’s adult summer reading program is also back.
Registration for all three programs begins June 8th and the programs runs through Aug. 1st. Prizes and prize drawings for reading occur with every program.
Sit 'n' Knit at your library!
Knitters of all skill levels, ages 13 and up are welcome.
The library welcomes children of all abilities. All programs are free of charge.
Lewiston City Library Summerr hours are:
Monday - Thursday: 9am - 7pm, Friday: 9am - 5pm, Saturday: 10am - 5pm.
