Hear the wonderful music of the Washington-Idaho Symphony.
 | | | Local talent and guest musicians make up this orchestra |
|
The Washington Idaho Symphony offers & produces concerts & performances throughout the year in the greater Moscow, Idaho and Pullman, Washington area, with performance in Lewiston as well.
Not only will we showcase the wonderful talents and abilities of the musicians who make up this great orchestra, but we will also feature the brilliance of such people as violinist Mateusz Wolski playing the Sibelius Violin Concerto, the stunning Icicle Creek Piano Trio on the Beethoven Triple Concerto for Piano Trio and Orchestra, and pianist Natalya Ageyeva performing the timeless Grieg Piano Concerto in A Minor.
Together, we will experience Brahms's monumental First Symphony to Handel's Alchemist, from the solemnity and depth of Mahler's First Symphony to Nielsen's incredible musical vision of the sun and its progression throughout the day, his majestic Helios Overture.

Catch award-winning amateur theatre at the Lewiston Civic Theatre. Regular season and special performances.
 | | | Enjoy local talent in a classic theatre environment |
|
The award winning Lewiston Civic Theatre is housed in the historic Bollinger Performing Arts Center. Built by the Lewiston Methodist Church in 1907, the building and many of its features are currently in the process of restoration.
This lovely historic castle-like structure has been home to your theatre since 1972. In fact, we once shared the building with the church, when it was first purchased. Some patrons still remember the rousing sermon that was delivered through the sunroof of a VW Beetle, part of the set of "The Me Nobody Knows," our very first production here!
Prior to our move, shows played in the Porthouse in downtown Lewiston, beginning in 1964. The Porthouse no longer stands, due to constant water damage from the tides of the Snake River, which were known to flood - but not cancel - many a show.
Our new home was named for renowned opera singer Anne Bollinger, a Lewiston native whose golden voice once filled such great stages as Carnegie Hall, the Hamburg Opera House, and, of course, our own.
The theatre is located at 805 6th Avenue, Lewiston. 208-746-3401.
